EDJ 2 Edge used the concepts of water and ocean imagery to communicate how Ocera’s therapeutics “cleanse” the brain which is suffering from Hepatic Encephalopathy. The sunrise suggests renewed hope for patients and their families. While it was im portant that we maintain some continuity with their previous logo, we wanted to create a clean and swirling “O” that defined a look and style for all corporate messaging intended to work on multiple platforms and formats. We introduced a fresh, sophisti cated color palette consistant with the “Ocean” theme. While water became a central part of the messaging, we also brought a modern, updated look to visually communicate that the company is creating solutions at the cutting edge of science.
